Marcus Rosner and his wife, Alison Kroeker, keep their relationship out of the spotlight.
The Sullivan's Crossing star has shared rare insights into their relationship over the years, revealing in an Instagram post in 2022 that he and Kroeker had been together for 10 years. Kroeker previously told Today’s Bride’s Destination Wedding Magazine in September 2022 that they had started dating on New Year’s Eve, though she didn’t specify the year at the time.
Rosner first went public with Kroeker on social media in 2017; a photo of the couple kissing followed in October. After nearly a decade together, Rosner and Kroeker married in December 2021 in Guatemala on a date special to them.
“We got married on December 30th,” Kroeker told the wedding magazine. “We consider New Year’s Eve to be our anniversary for many of our milestones — we started dating on New Year’s Eve, and Marcus also proposed on New Year’s Eve. We unfortunately couldn’t have our venue right on the 31st because it is a sacred holiday in Guatemala and happily settled for the 30th.”
The couple welcomed their first child, a son with the initials MRR, in January 2026.

She is a producer

While Rosner does his work in front of the camera, Kroeker works behind-the-scenes.
She started her career in news, working as a segment producer for a morning newscast in Canada, per her LinkedIn. She went on to work as a producer and field director for the Discovery Channel, a story producer for the docuseries Disasters At Sea, a field producer and director for Salvage Kings, a writer and story producer for a variety of unscripted series and a senior producer for several more docuseries.
In recent years, she’s worked as a producer for Northern Gateway Films and has produced several made-for-television movies — many of which starred her husband — including Finding Mr. Right, Team Bride and Coupled Up for Christmas.
Kroeker was selected by the World Congress of Science and Factual Producers in October 2024 to represent Canada in the Global Career Accelerator, with Rosner celebrating the accomplishment in a post on social media.
In November 2024, Kroeker shared on LinkedIn that she had a “meaningful career highlight” when she got the opportunity to interview her father, Dr. Ron Kroeker, for a docuseries. Rosner shared more about the project in an Instagram post, writing that the series discussed ancient architecture and her father, a classics professor, was the “ideal expert on the subjects.”
“So many feelings and themes spring to mind when I look at this - Pride is probably the biggest,” he added. “The timeless passing down of wisdom is another. The achievement of raising a remarkable woman.”
He took their relationship public in 2017

In a June 2017 Instagram post, Rosner revealed that he was in a relationship.
“I have a beautiful, intelligent girlfriend who I love more than life but you won't see any posts about her because that's our business," he wrote.
Several months later, in October, Rosner gave fans a rare glimpse into his relationship with Kroeker on Instagram. At the time, he shared a black-and-white photo kissing his then-girlfriend.

They married in December 2021

Rosner and Kroeker took their relationship to the next level after they got engaged on New Year’s Eve in 2019. He shared a black-and-white photo on Instagram at the time of Kroeker’s hand donning her engagement ring.
Rosner and Kroeker married on Dec. 30, 2021, at Convento Santa Clara in Guatemala. Kroeker told Today’s Bride’s Destination Wedding Magazine in September 2022 that she and Rosner “fell in love with” the venue “immediately” after seeing it online.
“It is both grand and rustic, and it has so much character and history all wrapped in one,” she explained. “It was the perfect symbol for the adventure we were embarking on as a married couple with hopes to continue making discoveries for the rest of our lives.”
Kroeker shared that the couple wanted to have a “fairly small, intimate wedding” and had around 45 guests in attendance. The wedding had several special moments for the couple, including Kroeker’s dad officiating the ceremony, as well as some solo time where they were able to “sneak away” for half an hour.
“We were able to look down at the courtyard where the cocktail hour was beginning,” she added. “Seeing all of our loved ones mingling amongst the lights in this foreign land is a wonderful memory we’ll never forget. Watching it felt very familiar and intimate.”
She is a marathon runner

Outside of her work, Kroeker is a marathon runner.
In October 2023, Rosner shared a video on Instagram celebrating his wife’s feat of running her first marathon.
The post included a montage of Kroker before, during and after the race, including the sweet moment after she finished. In one clip, she ran straight toward her husband with her arms outstretched, followed by a different clip showing a kiss between the couple.
“When she finished she said ‘That was easy!’ 🤦🏻♂️,” Rosner captioned the post. “You really are the best of us…and a wonder to me.”
They vacation around the world together

Rosner has shared glimpses into the couple’s vacations over the years.
The actor posted a photo of Kroeker walking on a beach in Bali to mark her birthday in October 2018. In preparation for their wedding, Rosner shared a series of posts on Instagram in 2021 documenting their trip to Guatemala to plan their big day. They spent the month of June exploring the country, including sightseeing, hiking and plenty of adventure.
In July 2022, they enjoyed time on Six Mile Lake in Ontario, Canada with James Hinchcliffe and his wife, Becky Dalton, with the couples posing for a photo on a dock. Come January 2023, they were joined by Rosner’s brother on a trip to Tulum, Mexico, which included some open water diving, according to the actor’s Instagram caption.
Rosner recapped his trip to Nicaragua with his mom and wife in January 2024, sharing a series of photos from the trip on Instagram. He also enjoyed a trip to Costa Rica with Kroeker later in the month and a vacation in Saint-Tropez in May 2024.
Rosner and Kroeker welcomed a son in January 2026
In February 2026, Rosner and Kroeker shared on Instagram that they had welcomed their first child, a son, the month prior.
"Our Boy. M.R.R. January, 2026," they wrote in the caption. A month later, Rosner reflected on how much he loves being a dad.
