Rebecca Romijn, known for starring in popular projects like X-Men and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, paid tribute to her twin daughters, Dolly and Charlie, on their 17th birthday.
The 53-year-old took to Instagram on Dec. 28 to celebrate the exciting milestone for the daughters she shares with husband Jerry O'Connell, writing, "These two are 17 today, how did that happen? Happy birthday Dolly and Charlie! 🤍."
Honoring their entire life so far, Romijn started with a photo of Dolly and Charlie as infants, laughing in the bath with their mother. Another photo showed the girls a little older, cuddling up to Romijn on a beach lounge chair.
O'Connell made a couple of appearances as well, such as in an adorable photo of him and the twins relaxing at a restaurant table, with coloring activities in front of them. The resemblance between father and daughters was on full display as they all grinned at the camera.
Romijn also shared some more recent photos of Dolly and Charlie. One was from their Sweet Sixteen party last year as they posed in a photo booth for the occasion.

Fans were left stunned at the news that the twins were officially 17 years old, and many shared happy birthday messages in the comments.
"Wow 🤯 that is crazy 🤪 happiest of birthdays to them," wrote one fan, while a similar reply read, "They are so beautiful and so grown!!! Where did the time go?!❤️ happy birthday to them!"
A third chimed in to say, "Great picture! Time flies by… Happy Birthday, Ladies!"
More compliments from fans included, "Beautiful inside and out! You guys have raised such good girls!" and "that is the cutest family picture that I seen in a while."
A different fan of Romijn highlighted the resemblance between mother and daughters, writing, "They look just like their mom."
Romijn and O'Connell tied the knot in 2007, and they welcomed their twin daughters in December 2008. Over the years, both parents have continued their busy acting careers, keeping their personal lives relatively private.
Most recently, Romijn has been a part of the cast of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds since 2022, playing the character Number One. Many fans of the star are highly anticipating her next project, as Romijn is set to reprise her iconic role as Mystique in Avengers: Doomsday.
As for O'Connell, his most recent major role was also in the Star Trek universe, voicing Commander Jack Ransom in Star Trek: Lower Decks. He has also done a lot of hosting jobs, including the red carpet for the 2025 Oscars, and he joined other Stand By Me cast members in a reunion tour earlier this month.
