Meryl Streep is not interested in writing a memoir.

The three-time Oscar winner said her book would be "too boring."

But Streep does want to return to Broadway, with Martin Short joining her.

Apparently the life of a 21-time Oscar nominee and one of the greatest actors of all time isn't as entertaining as you'd imagine — at least according to Meryl Streep.

Appearing alongside her Devil Wears Prada 2 castmates on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, Streep was asked by Cohen if she would ever write a memoir, and the legendary actress answered in Miranda Priestly fashion.

"Nope," she quickly replied. "Too boring. Seriously."

Streep did admit to listening to Barbra Streisand's "fantastic" 2023 memoir. "Yes, of course I did," she declared. "What, am I nuts?"

While Streep dismissed the idea of writing her life story, she is very interested in returning to Broadway, where she started her career. And she's already spoken to her Only Murders in the Building (and long rumored offscreen) love interest about it.

"I would love to do something," she said of a return to the stage. "I was talking to Marty Short about that, and we were thinking that would be fun to do."

In the meantime, Short and Streep have at least one more murder in the building to solve together.
