The Sweet Magnolias star, 34, shared a video on her Instagram on Saturday, Feb. 14 as her 17-year-old daughter Maddie tried on prom dresses for her senior prom. "but like how are we already trying on dresses for her SENIOR prom??????" Spears asked in her caption.

The teenager proceeded to try on various different dresses, ranging from light purple mermaid gowns to more fitted black and white options. Spears even got in on the fun, trying on one of the dresses her daughter had previously worn next to her.
"Ivey, what do you think?" Spears asked her younger daughter, 7, about a dress she was wearing. "Should I wear this to [school] pick-up?"
Ivey responded that she didn't want her to wear the gown to school, and suggested it showed too much cleavage.
Spears shares her older daughter Maddie with ex-fiancé Casey Aldridge. She shares Ivey with husband Jamie Watson.
Last year for Maddie's junior prom, Spears shared several photographs on Instagram to mark the 16-year-old’s occasion.
Maddie was all smiles as she posed for the snaps in a lilac dress from the clothing brand Sherri Hill, paired with metallic Christian Louboutin heels. In one photo, she and her date, Joseph Daix, wrapped their arms around each other, while in another, Maddie was accompanied by her younger sister Ivey.
“Junior prom💜☂️” Spears captioned the post, which also included a photo of her alongside Maddie in denim shorts, a red t-shirt, and boots.

Earlier in February, Spears and her daughter celebrated Maddie's "miracle anniversary" of her near-fatal ATV accident, sharing a series of photos on her Instagram. In the pictures, Maddie could be seen lying in a hospital bed while Spears slept next to her.
Spears also included a few pictures of the cards Maddie received while she recovered, as well as a photo inside a helicopter that brought Maddie to the hospital.
"MIRACLE ANNIVERSARY🪽🤍 I will never take for granted the gift we were given, bc I’m very aware that so many times in these situations that is not the case," she wrote in her caption. "Thank you to every first responder, medical professional, friend, family, every single person who prayed for her, and ABOVE ALL THANK YOU GOD🙏🏻 go love on your people extra today, at the end of the day that is all that really matters."
Spears' daughter Maddie also posted in honor of the day, sharing similar photos. "I am forever so grateful to God and all my first responders!! He is so good!! ✝️✝️," she wrote in her caption.
