Jake Shane is officially a Broadway star!
On Tuesday, Feb. 17, the 26-year-old internet star took the stage in his debut role in All Out: Comedy About Ambition, giving his final bows to a roaring audience at New York Cityās Nederlander Theatre.
Shane ā who rose to fame over the past few years sharing comedy content to millions of followers on TikTok ā was supported in the audience by his BFF Alix Earle, who shared several sweet clips from the performance to her Instagram Stories and snapped photos with the content creator after the curtains closed. Former podcast guest Glen Powell sent him a bouquet of flowers and a stuffed octopus as a congratulatory gift, per Shaneās Instagram Stories.
Tuesday nightās performance fulfilled a lifelong dream for the content creator, who told PEOPLE in an interview last week that heās had his sights set on Broadway since middle school.
āI think that if I was standing next to 11-year-old me, heād s--- his pants and faint at the same time,ā said Shane. āThat was his ultimate goal.ā

After all, the influencerās 11-year-old email signature, which he adorably shared in a post on Instagram after the All Out casting news broke, read, āItās Jake (Soon to Be a Broadway Star).ā (Shane revealed to PEOPLE that he had added the six-word manifestation to his email sign-off in sixth grade, believing he had to āmarketā himself to the director to score the lead role in his middle schoolās production of Thoroughly Modern Millie.)

Outside of the Broadway world, Shane is also set to drop the first episode of his viral podcast Therapussās third season ā an interview with Hailey Bieber ā on Netflix on Feb. 18, the first to premiere on the streaming service. Shane previously told PEOPLE that this seasonās episodes will be āmore or less the sameā as before, but with a redesigned set and a new slate of A-list guests.
And production is currently underway for a forthcoming Hulu comedy series about Shaneās life, in which he will star.

Though the show is still in pre-production, he told PEOPLE, he and the other creators āspeak every dayā and are āconstantly sending people we think are funny, constantly just talking, talking, talking. I'll tell them stories about my life and what's happening ā it's a lot of talking right now, sifting through ideas, and a lot of excitement.ā
Reflecting on this standout moment in his career, Shane said: āI feel really, really excited, really anxious, and I hope all of it succeeds in the way I dream it to be.ā
